一、用于询问时间
What time is it? /What’s the time?
这两种说法均可。
二、time在句中的用法（其常用的句型）
1.time为不可数名词时，其为“时间”、“闲暇”之意
a． It’s time for something./ It’s time (for sb.) to do something.
是（某人）该做某事的时候了。
如： It’s time for lunch.
It’s time for us to have lunch.
b． I’ve no time to do something.
没有时间做某事。
如： I’ve no time to have lunch.
2.time为可数名词，“次数”、“倍数”之意
a. 表示次数：表示一次时用once； 两次用twice； 三次或三次以上three times, four times以此类推。
如：I’ve been to Shanghai three times.
b.表示倍数：规则变化
如：This cake is two times as large as that one.
3. time为“乘”之意
如：Five times six is thirty.
